Developed and manufactured by SAC, F-8IIM fighter aircraft is of multi-role, supersonic and all-weather performance. Our guiding line is to further more enforce its combating ability by adopting certain advance aero-technology through international cooperation.
　　The airborne impulsing Doppler radar ZHUK-8II can provide the integrated fire-control, capable of ranging multi-targets, tracking-while-scanning and locking-on, making it possible to use medium-ranged interception missile to attack target by single or twin launching. The integrated fire control system along with the concentrated management, the combination of displays, the twin-stick control technique, all have effectively improved the combating ability. The aircraft is featuring as below:

　1) 2 sets of turbo-jet engine XXP13B
　2)2 sets of AC generator, 15KVA for one each
　3) Fire-control system, integrated with GPS/INS/IFF
　4) Combined electronic countermeasure system
　5) Auto-pilot integrated with the maneuvering of heading, attitude, level-off, pitching up and augmentation of stability.

　F-8IIM fighter aircraft is designed to carry all-weather tasks mainly as below:
　1) Interception;
　2) Dog-fight;
　3) Escort
　4) Patrol
　5) Attack to the ground.
